Hi Everyone!

Yes, we are in fact expecting a baby! Thank you for the well-wishes and support. The baby is due in February, but as my husband says, if it's anything like his/her Dad, it'll show up around May.

In other news (as if there IS any other news), According to Jim is up and shooting for the sixth season, and we just went into syndication on the 18th. So now all of the According to Jim fans out there can watch us 5 nights a week! Lucky you!

We Are Marshall opens December 22nd. I saw part of the movie a couple of weeks ago while I was doing ADR (a post-shooting sound thing), and it looks really powerful. I can't wait to see it when it's all done.

Apart from all the pregnancy books I'm reading (Girlfirend's Guide to Pregnancy and What to Expect When you're Expecting are my favorites), I just finished The World to Come, by Dara Horn. It's a beautiful story about generations of a family and their connection to the famous painter, Chagall. It's woven together in a great way, skipping back and forth through time, and really well-written. I liked it a lot.

Movies of the month: Little Miss Sunshine (We laughed so hard we cried), and The Illusionist (I liked this more than I thought I would from the previews) and Talledega Nights (Hilarious).

I recently wrote a piece for Self Magazine, and that should be on the stands in November, with pictures of our farm in Nashville. So check it out.
